About Us

 

Growing up on a farm in Michigan where her own mother, Kathleen, made goat milk soap for family and friends, Alana knew that she wanted to raise her boys on a little farm and provide them with the same superb skincare! In the spring of 2020, dreams were realized as Alana and her husband purchased a small farm in Wayne and accrued 14 animals in about a month (her city boy husband was definitely in shock). The Mother/Daughter duo soon dreamed up a plan to revive the old soap recipes and go into business together. Hickory Grove specializes in making luxurious, small batch goat's milk soap with organic, cold-pressed oils, nutrients, and essential oils. We won't ever use fragrances or anything that hasn't been responsibly sourced!
