For Alana and I (Kathleen), our favorite childhood book was Misty of Chincoteague by Marguerite Henry. We pay homage to this wonderful author with our saltwater bar: Misty.  Misty descended from a line of Moor ponies, survivors of a Spanish galleon wrecked in a storm off the coastal waters of Virginia, where centuries later the (true) story of Mist unfolds.

Why add salt to a bar of soap? Salt has the marvelous qualities of refining, refreshing, and purifying skin texture. Plus it seals in moisture. All other oils crafted in this bar add moisture, increase collagen, plump fine lines, and soothe stressed skin. Coconut and castor oils are the reason for the luscious bubbles. We even put in a touch of tussah silk for a shimmery, silky feel. And... we gave Sunflower a break --- no goat milk in this recipe!

This spa bar exudes the freshness of sea air, the herby-flora aroma of myrtle and bracing scent of pine.

Made with coconut oil, shea butter, olive oil, avocado oil, sunflower oil, babassu oil, castor oil, water, sea salt, sodium hydroxide, titanium dioxide, cambrian blue clay, annatto, tussah silk, essential oils: niaouli, palmarosa, cedarwood, petitgrain, ginger, sage

  • Soap Care

We’ve found that if we treat our bars with care, they last well over a month.

Follow these simple steps to keep your bar in excellent condition and to help it last last longer:

    - Keep your bar out of the water when not in use.

    - A little goes a long way! Wet your soap lightly and suds up a loofah or use the bar directly on your body and then set it outside the water stream immediately

  • Hand-cut, naturally made

Every bar we make is hand-cut and made in small batches. Each bar is approximately 5 oz in size unless otherwise noted. We recommend cutting your bar in half to prolong the life of your soap.  Due to the fact that we don't use artificial colorants, there are variations in color

  • Not a doctor

The FDA prohibits soap makers from making medical claims. We are not medical or healthcare professionals, and as such, we cannot diagnose or treat any physical or mental health conditions.
